The Chianti area is not only famous for its breathtaking landscape, its rolling hills, its tall cypress trees set against the clear blue sky, its age-old villages and castles, but also for the Chianti (Classico and others) production and one of the best Italian “olio extravergine d’oliva”.
Enjoy our wine tour during your vacation, also available on Sundays, if you prefer! Our tour will start with a cosy winery, producing also one of the most appreciated Chianti extra virgin olive oil. You will visit the Chianti wine cellars where the various stages of preparation will be explained by our expert guide, and where you can taste the four different Chianti wines and local foods, admiring the vineyards and enjoying the delightful atmosphere.
Our tour will introduce you to Greve in Chianti, where you will have some free time to admire the celebrated main square of the old market with its characteristic portico and to browse through the typical artisan shops!
Moving along the charming "Via Chiantigiana", we cross the heart of the Chianti zone.
We will then come to a family-run winery near Siena where we will be warmly welcomed by its passionately dedicated winemaker and, after a tour of the cellar and the lovely aromatic garden, we will have a delicious tasting.

I really liked the tour! We visited two vine testings and two villages in Chianti. At the first tasting we were told about the production of wine. And at the second tasting we listened to the soul of wine. Very interesting! It can be seen that people understand their business. And of course there was a lot of fine wine! In the villages you can see beautiful landscapes of Tuscany. The only thing that could be suggested to the organizers of the tour. Boarding a bus in Florence is not organized well. A lot of people from different excursions and it is not clear where to go. But everything else is fine. Thank you for a good time!
