You have the possibility in the same morning to visit both the Uffizi and the Academy Gallery (David)!

The tour will start with the visit of the Uffizi Gallery that will introduce you to the museum’s most famous Renaissance works: Giotto, Botticelli with its famous Birth of Venus, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and many more. You will experience the wealth of this famous city and understand why Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance.

After the Uffizi you will have all the time you need to join the Tour to the famous David (Academy Gallery), starting at 11:15. See Michelangelo’s famous David and the unfinished “Prisoners”. Included is a detailed introduction to Michelangelo’s life and his extraordinary era. So you can complete your knowledge about Renaissance Art (culture, painting and sculpture). At the end of the tour, you are welcome to remain in the Academy Gallery on your own until closing time.

Riccardo was an incredible and knowledgeable guide. It makes the visit so much more enjoyable when your guide has the knowledge of the city and the history in their bones - Riccardo is friendly, warm, welcoming and most of all a gracious and interesting guide - he breathes life into the tour, dropping historical facts about the buildings, the artists and the artwork itself. The best guided tour of the galleries that I've had here in Florence. Highly recommend - will be asking for him again when we get back to enjoy Tuscany again
