Join our Rome walking tour, the perfect idea to discover the Eternal city, visit the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Venice Square. An expert English speaking guide will take you to many interesting monuments for a fascinating historical walk in the Italian Capital.
The itinerary will start by coach on its way to Piazza Venezia, where the monumental complex built in 1911 and dedicated to the King Victor Emmanuel II is situated. We will continue by foot to the Capitoline Hill square designed by Michelangelo, where you will have a fantastic view of the Roman Forum, old political center during the Republican and Imperial age. Within these splendid basilicas, temples and triumphal arcs major events occurred that made Rome the most important civilization in the Mediterranean area during the first centuries A.D.
The coach will then drive you by the Circus Maximus, where the chariot races took place in the ancient roman period, and the Aventino Hill.
Stop to admire the beautiful statue of Moses by Michelangelo located in the Church of St. Peter's in Chains from where it will take us only 5 minutes to reach the symbol of Rome: the Colosseum. This famous amphitheater could hold up to 50.000 people, attending shows with gladiators and wild animals.
